| I dont know. I really didn't like how this series ended. I think there could have been a more larger than life plot tied within the story if they really pushed for it. Plus alot of things where left unanswered. For example, what was Celty memories, why did Izaya needed the gun, what makes Simon and Shizuo so hard for Izaya to comprehend, how does Shinra and his father tie into all of this, and wasnt Mikado suppose to be some type of genius. (I thought he was when he orchestrated the Dollors first meeting and discovered who were behind the kidnappings) And also Izaya bullshyt about loving humans was given as a reason as to why he did the things he did, yet they did not touch back on the subject as to what he was talking about opening the Dullahan heaven. If this is truly the last episode..en to me this is neither decent or epic but more of a cop out. I hate animes with such great epicness in the beginning that leave you off with a mere disney ending. And to think I was looking forward to the reopening of Animecrazy just to watch this dumbsh!t. Also, for anybody who like this anime...GO WATCH BACCANO! Its made by the same people who created this anime, except its better. It has the same style with "there is no main character," which means the story is filled with rich characters and personality of every sort. I also advised watching it in dubs, which are the best dubs I ever heard, but the subs are just as good. |

| AHA! front page (will edit later) Decent ending, Season1 ending was better tho. I gotta head to work soon so lemme just say that the melodrama in the action scenes is kinda too superheroish/cliche for my taste (not enuf realism or relateability to RL for this series so far) but I like how they wrap things up in a very simply and universally understood philosophical venture. And now, BAKEMONOGATARI 15 IS UP RAW! GET FRONT PAGE WHILE IT LASTS! =D..right back from work, lemme elaborate. I personally thought Shiz saving the day with the cops was too much of a fan service, tho Kida and his GF's romance scene was cute w/o being sickly cute. I guess it just goes to show u Kida is awsum like that. Also, Kida leaving, was done nicely, tho im wondering where hell go... I mean, for a buncha hi schoolers they sure lack proper parenting. I can understand Anri and possibly Mikado, but srsly...WHERE TEH FCK ARE ALL THE ADULTS?! No wonder Izaya rolls them so easy, no parent to say, "If a stranger in badass clothes tries to talk u into something, dont do it, hes smarter than u and ull just screw urself over, here play with this stick son!" Also I appreciated how Izaya got back his 3rd dimension this ep. I mean I dont have any problems with him being the villain or losing for that matter, I just want some originality in how its done, and I dont like "Mwahahaha! im so evil!" villain characters. For example, not only did he look sad when told about Mikajima betraying him, but we also got insight into his own insecurities, as well as the fact Simon disagrees with him but doesnt altogether hate him. Also, Izaya's redemption of the day is Kida's introduction into the Dollars =3. Cmon, if he was really evil would he of done that? Plan or not that was nice... |
