| Actually, I can play 720p just fine–my computer isn’t old (though I haven’t bought an hd monitor either), but I have rural broadband and they’ve threatened me for excessive downloading (and they limited my speeds to 10kb for a month, and there is no competing service.) So, unfortunately I really need something under 300mb if I’m going to download the whole file in one day. Back in 2008 a 175mb file was normal for an anime episode, and I don’t recall anyone complaining that it was ****. |

| @vecadrian There is only 1 sub group I have seen, that were good enough to watch, that had such a shitty encoder… Most eps that are 720p are less then 400mb if they know how to encode… My friend has a REALLY old computer and can still play 720p perfectly fine. Either you are on a pentium 2, or you just need more ram (cheap nowadays). |
