Pretty good ep! I couldn't resist watching (even w/o subs), lol, I'll probably watch the subs either later on tonight or tomorrow. But seeing as how bad as hell I feel, it'll probably be tomorrow. :p Well, at least I got my fix tonight! :)

It'll probably take another several hrs (maybe 5 or more). I don't know were you live but I'm on the East Coast of the US and it's about qtr. after 6pm; last few times I've watched it when the subs went up have usually been either close to 11pm or even a little after 12(am). That seems the typical time frame, imo. So wherever you are add about 5-8 hrs to it that and that should generally be when you'll see the sub (give or take).

Well, 'yes' and 'no', at least not yet... The tv run of it 'technically' ended at 12; but the true 'final' 3 eps (making 15 in total) where not going to be shown on tv but rather on the official Bakemonogatari JPN website. So this is the first of those 3.

Maybe there was something wrong with it. I know when this ep was in the approval area I had trouble viewing a upload of it (don't remember whose version it was). Perhaps they went w/ this one until yours got fixed (don't know just throwing out some possibilities).

Well, I guess that's what you're gonna have to do, aren't you? <_< What's 'just crazy' is how some ppl can expect subs to be done super-fast, which in the context of the Japanese is not such a quick thing to do. Be lucky DTB is a popular series that at least is given fairly decent subbing priority and that you don't have to wait days for a subbing.

spoilers don't work in the comments section...only the forum. anyways, wow seems like a pretty awesome ep....but man, that sucks about Hei's contractor powers, though. I wonder if this is gonna be how the remainder of the series is gonna be or if he just temporarily lost them. :( nonetheless, glad I got to catch this (even if it was subbed) got worried when I didn't see it up earlier..w I can go to bed happy. I'll check back later on for the subbed, just glad to have gotten my weekly DTB fix. ^_^

Well I don't think it's an 'arc' more so than it is a element of the story. I'm sure she'll probably return later in the series (or maybe more in the 2nd season).

Yeah, that's what I had thought it to be right off the bat; since it reminded so much of FLCL. I love these kinda ones too, geez I need to find more or maybe they're out there and I just haven't found them yet. I gotta find more! lol But I wonder...would 'dark comedies' be the classification of it in terms of the anime?
