The initial story almost made me not watch this anime, because of how stupid the entire scenario was. I read a little of the manga, and saw the original opening was handled better, and made a lot more sense.

I do read the manga, and I am caught up. This ep is filler. The Sabo arc in general is not filler, but the past 2 episodes are filler in the Sabo Arc, don’t you read the manga?!
